Jamie joined FMSC 4 years ago as part of a company buy out, and has taken the role of managing Director, his experience is brought from many years as a Technical Director within another construction related firm. Jamie's role is to ensure the smooth running of all sites and still actively looks after the construction team on a day to day basis.

4 years ago Jamie was one of a partnership that acquired FMS Construction Ltd from retired owner George Begg. In the 4 years of taking the helm the company has grown in turnover and become one of the largest employers within the construction industry in Angus.

Derek joined FMSC at the same time as Jamie as part of the company buy out, Derek and Jamie are also business partners in SARKAR INV and SARKAR Dev, as well as together owning 2/3rd shares in FMS Develpments Ltd. With him he has brought his experience in sales and marketing, and his main role is to grow the company through bringing in new projects and clients ot FMSC. He also actively deals with land acquisitions for ther own private developments. Derek's challenges are to ensure FMSC are considered by all construction professionals in as many new projects as possible.

Julie joined the team over 2 years ago and has settled into the role very easily, initially brought in as Office Manager to deal with day to day administration duties, but quickly grew into dealing with the property sales for the whole group. Julie likes the challenge of today's market and has to think ahead in order to beat the property sales downturn. Julie liaises with our estate agents and organises the interior designs of our show properties.

Paul joined FMSC 3 years ago and has brought to the company his experience in all aspects of site management, Paul was brought in to run FMSC first major contract under the new ownership which was a Block of Flats in Arbroath with a contract period of 36 weeks, this was achieved with a little bit of time to spare, from this he moved onto another development in Dundee. Paul is now an integral part of the management team, and looks after all larger and smaller developments as well as dealing with the very important role of Health and Safety for the company.

Malcolm has been with FMSC for over 9 years and has worked his way through the company as a Builder to his now current position of Contracts Manager. Malcolm was given the post to run a 29 Flatted conversion of a former Shoe factory in Arbroath. His first role as contracts manager was not the easiest one as this development was a mix of refurbishment and new build.

Ian is new to FMSC only joining us in April 2010, but he brings a wealth of experience in the role as Commercial Manager, charged with all the estimating and surveying duties Ian is a Quantity Surveyor and will in time ensure that the company has the procedures in place to be as competitive as possible in the market place.
